STEAM

The interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) studies and activities stems from the need to promote scientific and technological vocations among students. It is a reality that the number of students who opt for training in technology is decreasing every year and, in the future scenario in which the professional profile will require technological training, it is essential to promote STEAM initiatives. The University of Vigo not only promotes STEAM programmes such as the STEMbach, but also seeks to strengthen the integration of women in technological fields through programmes such as InspiraSTEAM.
