Specialisation campuses
The Universidade de Vigo is committed to specialisation, with four major lines that include different areas and capacities of its environment. These lines promote research excellence, the internationalisation of knowledge, and relations between university and society, favouring the transfer of knowledge generated at the university to the productive sector.
Campus Auga (Ourense)
Promotes teaching, research, and knowledge transfer activities in subjects concerning water, generating synergies and lines of activity, involving social and economic agents as well as public administrations, to turn them into strategic partners.
Campus Crea (Pontevedra)
Campus Crea in Pontevedra is committed to specialisation through art, communication, creativity, education, social innovation, public management, sport, health and welfare, and the environment and nature.
Campus Vigo Tecnolóxico
The Vigo technological specialisation campus promotes the stimulation of the Galicia-North of Portugal Euroregion in order to turn it into a focus for excellence in in education, research, and knowledge transfer in the engineering field.
Campus do Mar
Bringing together research groups in the marine and maritime field in order to train the best professionals in sea sciences; generating quality research with international impact; providing industry with tools to improve its competitiveness.
