Access to Lifelong Learning
According to the admission requirements, lifelong learning opportunities at the Universidade de Vigo fall into two main categories:
- Programmes that do not require a prior university degree, aimed at broadening and updating knowledge, competencies, and professional or academic skills. These are designed to enhance employability and personal development.
- Postgraduate-level programmes intended for university graduates seeking to deepen their knowledge, gain specialisation, or update their professional training.
Admission criteria vary depending on the type of qualification:
- For a Lifelong Learning Master’s Degree, the same entry requirements apply as for official university master's degrees.
- For other postgraduate-level qualifications (including Specialist, Expert and Advanced Course Diplomas) you must meet one of the following:
- Fulfil the general requirements for admission to an official master's degree.
- Have completed at least 120 ECTS credits in an official degree programme within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
- Be a professional with recognised and documented experience, provided this experience is relevant to the competencies of the programme, and you meet the general university access requirements under current regulations.
Please note that some programmes may include additional admission criteria specific to their academic or professional focus.
