Traballos no mar

A strategic decision

Betting on the sea as the backbone of the Campus of International Excellence of Euroregion is not a coincidence, but a necessity demanded by the extensive network of marine R+D+i existing in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Universities, public research bodies, technology centres and platforms with great potential are located in a territory with the ideal starting conditions to become a centre for generating knowledge of excellence and attracting talent at a global level.

For this reason, the Campus do Mar seeks to become the driving force behind a cross-border and integrated network of research, teaching and knowledge transfer units, training the best professionals and researchers in the field of marine sciences and technologies, producing quality research with international impact and providing industry with the tools to improve its competitiveness on a global scale.
