Seal of Excellence - European Universities

The Seal of Excellence is a quality label awarded to proposals of universities alliances that did not receive funding through Erasmus+ due to budgetary constraints.

The label recognises the high quality of the proposal and helps other funding bodies take advantage of the European Universities initiative evaluation process.

Despite not having received Erasmus+ funding, several universities alliances have already started their activities. 

They are currently engaged in building and sustaining deeper transnational cooperation between their institutions.

The Universidade de Vigo is part of the European University ATHENA PLUS (Alliance for Advancing Technology through Higher Education and Novel Approaches), an alliance of ten institutions of higher education and research.

Certificado GreenMetric

Creado en 2020, el índice GreenMetric valora las políticas de sostenibilidad ambiental de los centros de enseñanza superior, en el ámbito internacional, en función de seis categorías: eficiencia energética y lucha contra el cambio climático, la gestión de residuos, los recursos hídricos, la infraestructura, el fomento del transporte no contaminante y la educación ambiental.

El objetivo de esta clasificación promovida por la Universidad de Indonesia, la más importante en materia de sostenibilidad, es reflejar los esfuerzos realizados por las instituciones para aplicar políticas y programas sostenibles y respetuosos con el medio ambiente.
