Graphic Corporate Identity Manual

In response to the evolving challenges of communication, the Universidade de Vigo presents a renewal of its corporate identity.

The updated Graphic Corporate Identity Manual aims to define the visual guidelines that shape the image of the Universidade de Vigo. It establishes standards to ensure consistency in the institution’s communications, while also supporting those who produce these materials by providing graphic resources for both external and internal use.

The graphic style of the Universidade de Vigo will always accompany its communications in accordance with this corporate identity manual. Under no circumstances may the designs provided by the Image Area be modified.

Logo

The logo of the Universidade de Vigo is set in New Baskerville, based on the designs of John Baskerville (1761). It is institutional, academic, rigorous, and timeless.

The use of the logo is authorized exclusively for purposes related to the Universidade de Vigo. Under no circumstances will the user be granted exclusive rights, nor will they be allowed to claim ownership through registration or any other procedure of the aforementioned emblem or any similar symbol. Authorization will be presumed when the logo is used in activities carried out by members of the university community and organized by this institution.

The various sub-entities of the Universidade de Vigo may request their specific logo and symbol, as well as their own manual, from the Image Area.

The manual establishes guidelines aimed at ensuring consistency in the institution’s communication, while also facilitating the work of those who prepare these documents by providing graphic resources to be used both externally and internally.

Image Area

The Image Area of the Universidade de Vigo aims to advise the university community on the correct use of the graphic symbols representing the institution, in order to strengthen and clarify internal communication, as well as to project a coherent and excellent external image.
